Vintage Chop O Matic Infomercial
1950's Chop O' Matic
One of my favorite tools is this awesome 1950s Chop O Matic that I found for a $1 at a thrift store. I love the design and I love the way it chops my onions.

Idea! Veggie Burger "Meatballs"
I found this awesome vintage Aladdin thermos at Savers for a buck! Perfect for hot lunches.
I had a great idea yesterday. I took my favorite veggie burger recipe and instead of shaping patties, I shaped little meatballs. I browned them in olive oil and then added them to spaghetti sauce and had a huge bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. Yum.
I'm thinking meatball sandwich next . . . . .

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
I've been trying to find a quick peanut butter smoothie, without bananas, that I could make from ingredients I almost always have on hand. After some experimentation I came up with this baby. I'm not too careful with my chocolate, but if you are more careful, use vegan chocolate powder.

Mini Veggie Burgers and Tofunaise
I am in love with this veggie burger. So far I have had it with guacamole and tofunaise, lettuce, and tomato. Divine. And, I have a lot more plans for this veggie burger . . . .
I halved the recipe and made these into 8 mini burgers using Father Sam's mini whole wheat pita pockets as buns.

But first a recipe for tofunaise, a very important condiment for my vegan lunchbox.
